All courses will be held on the Evansdale Campus of West Virginia University (WVU); most classes will be in Percival Hall (see map here: http://transportation.wvu.edu/r/download/100502).

It is the student's responsibility to provide their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for your specific class.

On-campus lodging will be available at the Evansdale Residential Complex (ERC/Towers). This is dormitory style lodging and located within a five minute walk to Percival Hall and ERC/Towers classrooms. This low-cost option is: $50.00 for a single room and $25.00 per person for a double room (please indicate your option on the registration form). We encourage you to check in at the command center. If this is not feasible, the registration desk at ERC/Towers is open 24-7. Check out time is 12 noon. If checking out after 12 noon, you will be charged for an additional night. If you are requesting lodging, please complete the "Lodging/Meal" section on the registration form.

Full service accommodations include: sheets, pillow, blanket, pillowcase, two towels and washcloth, as well as drinking glasses, bath soap and shampoo. Beds are made prior to guest arrival. Housekeeping staff will service rooms daily Monday through Friday. Rooms are not serviced on Saturday and Sunday, although extra towels and washcloths will be left in rooms on Friday. Sheets for groups/guests will be exchanged every Friday. Custodial staff will clean all common bathrooms and public areas on a daily basis.

Please remember to bring an alarm clock with you. Those who are early risers may also bring a small coffee pot. You may also want to bring shower shoes - there are no private showers.

Alternative lodging located near Percival Hall and ERC/Towers include: Hampton Inn, Euro-Suites, Quality Inn, and Residence Inn.

Along with lodging in ERC/Towers, you may wish to purchase breakfast and lunch at Evansdale Café located in the Evansdale Residential Complex (please mark meals on your registration form). Evening meals are not provided, but if you wish to eat at Evansdale Café, you may do so at your own cost. There are many good restaurants within walking distance from ERC/Towers. For those who do not require lodging, you may wish to purchase breakfast or lunch at Evansdale Café (please register for meals at registration). If you are participating in a Field Day Exercise, we will provide a "Boxed Lunch" for those days. During the first day of your course, you will receive a Field Day lunch menu.

On Tuesday, June 9 we will have our annual cookout at Krepps Park, which is within walking distance from ERC/Towers. If you are interested in joining us for the cookout, please indicate that on your registration form so we can plan for the amount of food that is prepared. There will also be a raffle with all the proceeds going to the "Wildland Firefighters Foundation Fund". You are welcome to bring a donation from your agency to be raffled off.
